Megan and Josh married at the brand new and gorgeous Chisholm Springs in Edmond at the end of December. This was our last wedding of the year and it couldn’t have gone smoother thanks to Meg Owen of Mrs. MO Events. It actually snowed about 3 inches the morning of their wedding. I love looking back on these images and not being able to tell that they were freezing. All you can see is the love and excitement.
Clark and Lori were married back in December (on Robby’s birthday actually) and it couldn’t have been a prettier day. We were expecting arctic temps and ended up having to take off our coats to shoot outside. We had such a good time getting to spend the day with these two and their family and friends. It was such a special day for them. Everyone involved and in attendance truly cared for this couple. It was a really cool thing to witness.

We shot Emily’s bridal portraits about 3 weeks ago. It has been 3 weeks of torture not being able to share this gorgeous bride until after her wedding day. Emily is the picture of elegance and grace. We were so glad to have gotten to know her over the past 6 months. Congrats to you and your new hubby, Emily!
I worked under Jay for a few years in President Boren’s office at OU. He was the Press Secretary to the President and I was one of the lowly action line workers who filtered through calls, emails and letters from, mostly unhappy, students. Working in that office is one of my fondest memories from my time at OU and a lot of that was due to Jay and his laid back and humorous approach on the day to day. There are too many one liners and inside jokes to count or even remember at this point. A few (ahem…5) years have passed and everyone I came to know well at that job has since moved on from old Evans Hall. It has been so fun to see everyone from afar on their journeys through life. When we received an email from Lauren inquiring about our photography services and informing us that she was engaged to Jay, I could not contain my excitement that 1.) Jay was engaged!! and 2.) they were interested in us being their photographers for their wedding. To say that we are honored that they chose us is an understatement. You can just feel the love and excitement they have for each other and if you can’t tell Jay absolutely adores Lauren. We are so incredibly happy for these two and can’t wait for their September wedding!
Kim is the most laid back, go with the flow bride you could ever come across. She is also, obviously, stunningly beautiful. Kim is an amazingly talented florist and made her flower crown for her bridal session. We might have squealed a bit when she pulled it out. We met up with Kim down at Mount Scott and she was totally in her element. We asked her to stand on top of a boulder at the edge of the mountain and without hesitation she hiked up her dress and scaled the thing without help in 2 seconds flat. She’s one cool chick.
